Walnuts and berries

This modern apartment in the charming colourful village of Nadur takes on a decorative and artistic look, as we mesh the concept of dark nutty walnuts with soft berry undertones. An inviting open plan space that accommodates a large, low modular chaise sofa in mauve ribbed fabric, with three large cushions for support, mirrors the focal TV wall, painted in mauve by Benjamin Moore exclusive paints, set to take centre stage in this eclectic feminine space. The focal wall, flanked by two large planters in bronze vases, now houses a low contemporary electric fireplace, with a 55 inch TV above it, flanked by two metal circular shelvings on either side. Walnut furniture, in the shape of a nest of coffee tables, as well as a round classic dining table, and dining side board, blend in smoothly with the clients pre-existing suede chairs, and contrast nicely with the same white and walnut tones of the modern kitchen, and white washed walls. New light fittings in white and brass accents, give a modern twist too the space, with taupe sheers to match the hallway fabric divider. The walls have been carefully planned to incorporate contemporary art pieces in the mauve accent colour as well as a family photo montage in classic black and white hazard frames. These updates to the room, guarantee to warm it up in a stylish ensemble, that won’t date and will stand the test of time.
