Family Home - Gharghur
A beautiful home in the heart of Gharghur, was well served with a style direction that implied understated luxury, refinement, and textural industrial elements. A lovely square entrance off the main door, featured a black piano ready to up its tunes! One we finished the piano restoration, we worked on two upcycling pieces in black gloss and brass , to finish off the space, adorned by brass vase pots and an intricate mirror.
The stunning black and gold wallpaper finished off this rich look. In the winding hallways, we worked with some existing pieces, and washed the walls in a concrete grey to contrast against the natural stone, whilst adorning the niches with art pieces of scale and metallic texture. We used pouffes and carpets to offset the look, providing warmth and luxury in this monochromatic hall. A stunning feature of tall green foliage set against the rustic skylit walls, was pivotal in bringing a pop of retro to the open plan area, and we used a 70s style peacock chair for effect.
In the open space of the dining and living area, we clad the wall in a concrete like wallpaper. Combined with the grey washed ceiling beams, and metal lighting, we worked on a slightly industrial yet soft feel for the space. Matching grey contemporary sofa, low level TV unit in popping white and breezy off white sheers on the large pool aperture, finished of the space through the unity of colours and blend. In the dining room, we glammed up the wall with a huge gold mirror, a vintage style dresser and matching table and warm mustard tone velvet chairs. Dinner is served!
